Mike,

Where did you get your degree in armchair psychology? ( Just wondering)

Fact:
It is **impossible** to know if "top" schools are good or not unless the work done IN THE HOME by the parent, child, and tutors is measured. These studies have never been done.

Wintertime, as a homeschool parent wouldn't you be able to work with your kid 24/7? So the fact that it would require parents to do some work with their kids while not at school is pretty much a mute point and your comparison is inadequate at best. The only thing evident is your deep hatred of which no one on here really cares. Find counseling elesewhere please.

"Top" schools have a high percentage of parents who are **afterschooling**.

Definition of afterschooling: The act of doing everything in the home in the preschool years and in the hours after school that successful homeschooling parents are doing for their kids.

It is **impossible** to know if a school is "good" or not if the afterschooling done by parents is not measure. At this point afterschooling has **NEVER** been measured by anyone in academia.

It is entirely possible that government schools teach nothing at all. They may merely be sending home a very expensive curriculum for the parents, child, and tutors ( paid or unpaid) to follow **after** school!

I believe that "top" schools have a very high percentage of students whose parents actively support both the students and their teachers.
