According to the fervently pro-Parent Revolution San Bernardino Sun, 53 parents participated in the vote to decide which charter would take over Desert Trails. (Not 53 for the winning charter, but 53 total votes cast.)

According to the Sun, there are 670 students at Desert Trails, though we don't know how many families that breaks out to.

Just pointing out the number deciding on the fate of the school in relation to the number of students, though.
