Online courses are a great money-saver for schools going forward. However, I am not surprised to see that public schools have found a way to put an online program together that achieves no savings whatsoever. So instead of reduced capital costs, they'll just make students commute and stare at computers in the building. Great idea.

What is the point of offering online classes while requiring students to still attend the school?
