		<description>The reason they rarely strike is because the school districts cave to the threat of a strike.  Since this strike is actually a strike against the citizens of the district most of the time the district can absorb the 7-10% the Unions threaten to strike over.  This is a whopping 30%.  Seriously? In today&#039;s economic picture they want 30% more.  I say make them prove they are worth that raise and make it merit based on their teaching abilities.  Just passing a kid to pad your numbers is not good enough.</description>
