Geneva College boasts an 11:1 ratio. So, Grove City's ratio is higher than a similar school in the same geographic region.

The student:teacher ratio at Grove City College is 16:1. To compare, Penn State - Main Campus ratio is 17:1. These statistics are easy to find from Princeton Review and others. Grove City College does not "skimp" on the student:teacher ratio to keep costs low. They simply take their job of managing money AND providing an excellent education very seriously.

No magic here - keep payroll costs very low by having a small faculty. Hence student/faculty ratio and percentage of large classes are both much higher than in most small colleges.
