The information necessary to graduate in a reasonable time is found in the institution's handbook. It needs to be read and understood. The catalogues I have read say that it is the student's responsibility to develop a graduation plan. If a student does not require remedial classes, drop classes, or change majors, the student should be able to graduate in the standard time for desired degree. This probable means 15+ semester hours per semester. Twelve credit semesters will add at least a year to the graduation time.
