“I know some smaller rural districts have been doing it a long while and they have strategies that seem to be working,” said Jennifer Davis, president and co-founder of the Boston-based National Center on Time and Learning. “But the policy decision, at a time when we’re trying to upgrade our education system in America, is in the wrong direction.”

My school is a 4 day week. We graduate 100% almost every year (99% two years ago). We are above state and national average on SAT, we send 80+% to college or techinical school, we have been a distinguished school district in the state 6 of the last 7 years (only 4 districts last year and 5 the year before). So Mrs. Davis I guess what I am saying is keep your reform we don't need it. Maybe thats why the constitution says education is a state matter!
