We are seeing a rapid change in the career outlook for finance professionals. And the story on the educational front is similar. In the year 2006 there were 11,542 students who graduated from finance degree programs across the country, while in the year 2010, there were 12,126 students graduating from finance schools.
This represents a 5% change in 4 years. This growth in the number of students graduating from finance courses is less than the change nationally for students graduating from institutions for higher education in general, which has been a 12% growth from 2006 to 2010.
