Same firm, paid about $225K, generated no US funds for district in past 3 years
 
You can trace the last time the Tucson Unified School District was able to cash in on federal aid for school technology to 2002.

In the years since, TUSD hasn't collected a dime, missing out on millions of dollars from the federal E-rate program that could have helped close the district's notorious technology shortfalls.

So a $210,000, three-year contract for an E-rate consultant is getting some attention from some Governing Board members, who are questioning whether it was a smart expenditure.
