SECULAR INQUISITION
PERSPECTIVE

Secular humanists are not little green men from outer space. They are a growing club of elitists that believe in a "free" society dominated by them and their beliefs. They are elitists that embrace the philosophy of "do as I say, don't do as I do." They have set themselves up as arbiters over society and tell us the new rules by which we shall live. They have brought us political correctness; universal tolerance with zero tolerance of intolerance; they have brought us a "value-free, nonjudgmental society" where there is no discrimination and judgement except the denial of the old Judeo-Christian values, and the vigorous persecution of its adherents, which they call extremists. These humanists are establishing a free nonconformist society where everyone is free to do whatever they are told to do by the new establishment. And these humanists have a vision of a free and peaceful global society where there is no competition or strife, and war has been eliminated by calling it "peace."
To bring this total transformation of society about, the humanists must change society's thought process- its beliefs, and values system. Nowhere is there more fertile ground to plant the seed for this transformation than in the minds of our youngsters in the schools. This the humanists are assiduously pursuing through Outcome Based Education (OBE) and Child Centered Learning. According to the philosophy of Transformational OBE, factual knowledge is no longer important for the children; rules and discipline are considered stifling; right or wrong does not exist; therefore, integrity and morality means nothing, and "learning to learn" and liking it is more important than acquiring factual knowledge. Under child centered learning, individuals are prompted to choose what suits them best, competition is replaced by group learning, and self-esteem is projected as a right- to be savoured without accomplishment.
Under traditional education, knowledge is imparted to individual learners to improve their character and scope of knowledge, which will ultimately benefit them and society as a whole. However, the aim of Transformational OBE is to convert learners to a new way of thinking and to destabilize society- change it to suit the humanists' philosophy.
If one examines the breadth and depth of the humanists' assault on society, an awesome spectacle emerges. They control our schools, the universities, social services, the judiciary, large segments of the civil service and political structure, and so on up to the human rights authorities and the United Nations. They have infiltrated and meddle with every facet of society's infrastructure.
Over the years the secular humanists have brought us political correctness and the "value-free" society in which we now live. They have made it illegal to hate and discriminate. They have normalized and legitimized perversion. They have made publicly praying to one God illegal. They have popularized promiscuity and legalized abortion on demand. They forbid schools to teach children a moral code of ethics, but encourage nonjudgmental values through values clarification programs. They undermine the traditional family and tell our children that there are many different kinds of families. They encourage children to experiment with sex and state that heterosexuality is just one of many sexual orientation. They are in the process of destroying all the traditional values, beliefs and rules of society and replacing them with a new set of politically-correct precepts concocted to suit their own purposes. They call this the total transformation of society.
In their quest of this total transformation, the humanists have been thorough. No issue is too trivial and nothing is too daunting. In Britain, they have recently condemned the game of musical chairs. Apparently, the game is too intimidating and competitive for the timid; it is fraught with potential hostilities, generating deep-seated aggression and violence, and it destroys self-esteem, according to Tony Blair's Bureau of Political Correctness. Other more or less absurd politically incorrect wrongs the politically-correct movement has addressed are issues such as the inconsiderate advertising of a "room with a view" or a "bedroom with a walk-in closet." Apparently, such statements could be hurtful or offensive to the blind or physically impaired.
In a recent Supreme Court ruling in Texas, the judges outlawed the tradition of prayer before school football games. Apparently such prayer may make the nonadherents feel like outsiders, one judge postulated. On the other hand, most public schools must now take sex-education lessons where they are told that they must accept homosexuality as a natural alternative lifestyle unless they want to be branded as discriminating homophobic bigots. Prayer in Ontario's public schools was banned because one mother complained to the human rights commission that her children should not have to listen to morning school prayer. And in a recent homosexual child rape case involving a multiple pedophile offender, a psychiatrist stated that the pervert wasn't a pedophile, but simply a man with a predilection for youthful bodies. And the judge ruled that the serial rapist was no threat to society and sentenced him to probation with no jail time and ordered him to publish a letter of apology in the newspapers. On the other hand, these same enlightened humanist demand that crimes against homosexuals be punished with bonus penalties because they are considered "hate crimes" committed against a minority victim group. And while vile sexual assaults like pedophilia receive minor penalties, a man can be charged with harassment and sexual assault for flirting the wrong way with the wrong woman. Such is the double standards these liberated humanist are imposing on our society.
Secular humanists are waging war and scoring victories against traditionalists around the globe. Their conquests are boundless and show no mercy. Their mission is to destroy traditional society and to replace it with their own brave newly restructured global society where God is dead, and humanists all play God.
