San Diego County schools are making progress in bridging the achievement gap. Nearly everyone in last year's local 12th-grade class passed a key math test required for a diploma, an improvement from two years ago when more than 1,000 blacks and Latinos failed to pass before graduation, according to a report released Wednesday morning.
