Pearson offers a complete portfolio of products including:

Group Reading Assessment and Diagnostic Evaluation (GRADE) and Group Math Assessment and Diagnostic Evaluation (GMADE) are research-based diagnostic tools that determine what skills students have mastered and where they need additional instruction, intervention, or remediation. GMADE evaluates math concepts, math operations, computation and applications. GRADE evaluates vocabulary, sentence comprehension, passage comprehension, and listening comprehension. Reports designed to drive instruction that show student results by foundational skills, identify gaps in student learning, and offer intervention resources specific to student performance.

Stanford Achievement Test Series, Tenth Edition (SAT 10) is a valid, reliable, research-based assessment that provides an accurate measurement of annual student progress available in paper/pencil and online version. Administrators will obtain reliable data to evaluate progress toward meeting content standards and high expectations. Teachers will identify and help children who are at risk of being left behind. Parents will understand what their children know and can do and how they can help. Stanford 10 reports have been redesigned to provide greater insight into performance. Narrative summaries, process and cluster summaries, and graphic displays clarify the student’s performance.

Stanford Achievement Test Series, Tenth Edition (SAT 10) Online is a multiple-choice assessment that helps educators determine student achievement in real time for grades 3 through 12. Online assessments allow for automated capture, real-time reporting/scoring, and immediate normative analysis. There is no physical commitment on the part of school administrators and instructors to store, distribute, organize, and ship thousands of booklets and answer documents. The online testing format has minimal computer system requirements and provides computer readiness downloads and updates. These value-added benefits to test administrators and support staff dramatically reduce the investment of time and energy when evaluating student achievement.

Children's Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) is an engaging, online assessment of a young child's (Early Childhood: Grades PK thru 3) academic abilities in Language Arts and Mathematics. By administering the test three to five times a year, teachers can identify areas where children need more in-depth instruction. CPAA's recommended activities and intervention strategies help students master the concepts, and are calibrated to state-specific academic standards, ensuring that children are meeting grade-level and end-of-year expectations.

The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test - Second Edition (NNAT2) is an assessment of general cognitive ability in seven grade based levels for students in grades K-12, available on two media platforms-the traditional paper-and-pencil form and the NEW ONLINE form. Developed from comprehensive, scientifically based methodology, the NNAT2 is an accurate, culturally neutral measure of general ability without reliance on language or motor skills. The NNAT2 is especially useful for students with limited English-Language skills. Student performance is assessed on a developmental item response theory (IRT) scale that spans ages 5 through 17. Age-based norms were developed from a nationally representative sample of more than 57,000 students. This makes the NNAT2 one of the only inclusive and accessible assessments for the general student population.

Pearson Inform provides a complete, continuous performance picture, reporting and analyzing the results from ALL of the district's important assessments, including state high stakes tests, norm referenced tests, early literacy assessments, and any non-proprietary formative assessment. Pearson Inform's ability to quickly identify and target students for intervention, based on district- or school defined criteria, takes Pearson Inform well beyond the standard data reporting tool. Using Pearson Inform, educators can identify which students, teachers, and schools need help and develop personalized learning plans, referred to as Academic Intervention Plans (AIPs), for improvement. Throughout the school year, Pearson Inform can help educators monitor progress. A built-in feature of Pearson Inform documents the interventions that occur, meeting Response to Intervention (RtI) requirements.

WriteToLearn is a complete online tool for building writing skills and developing reading comprehension. With WriteToLearn, a student can practice essay writing and summarization skills, and their efforts are measured by the state-of-the-art Knowledge Analysis Technologies™ (KAT) engine. The KAT engine is a unique automated assessment technology that evaluates the meaning of text, not just grammatical correctness or spelling. Students receive immediate, specific feedback on their work, and teachers easily assess student efforts individually or as a class.

The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test, Eighth Edition (OLSAT 8) measures the cognitive abilities that relate to a student’s ability to learn in school. By assessing a student’s abstract thinking and reasoning abilities, OLSAT 8 supplies educators with insight they can use to enhance the information that traditional achievement tests provide. Use OLSAT 8 results to design educational programs that will enhance student’s strengths while supporting their learning needs. Also, identify those students who demonstrate high abilities and who may benefit from a Gifted and Talented program. OLSAT 8 may also be administered in conjunction with SAT 10 in order to relate achievement with ability.
