Community colleges good places to start

It's that time of year when parents brag about which college their kid got accepted into.

I've rarely heard a parent boast about their child choosing a community college. That could change.

There's a big push to increase funding for community colleges to get a new crop of college graduates. President Barack Obama wants to spend $12 billion to bolster community colleges over the next 10 years.

The only catch is they have to quantify their success rates.
