The mission of the Young Men's Preparatory Academy is a lofty one: It will make men out of boys. That's the pledge Miami-Dade Superintendent Rudy Crew personally gave Wednesday to 84 wide-eyed high-school teens -- the inaugural class of the county's first all-boys public high school, one of only a handful in the state.
